About Our Dance Program
We are devoted to providing our dancers with a friendly, positive, judgment-free atmosphere where they can come to experience all that dance has to offer. We strive to be a space for athletes to make friends, improve their skills, learn life-long values and share their passion for dance. Our versatile curriculum enables our dancers to discover their strengths and develop to their fullest potential.
We offer both Elite Allstar Dance and Recreation Dance options, including hip hop dance classes. Our dance programs cater to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring there's a class for dance enthusiasts of all kinds.

ELITE ALLSTAR DANCE PROGRAM

Elite Allstar Dance allows every dancer to shine within an inclusive dance community that is quite different from traditional eisteddfod dance.
Allstar Dance Teams will compete in 5-7 competitions per year. Our Allstar Dance Team members are expected to practise and perfect their routines for competition.

DANCESPORT PROGRAM

Semi-Competitive Dance is about fun and competition, it is a great opportunity to try competitions before joining one of our Elite Dance Teams. These teams are suited to beginner to intermediate dancers.
These teams require costumes and will will perform at our in house mid year Show Offs & end of year Showcase, as well as two Competitions.
Athletes will typically start in our Semi-Competitive Dance Program and eventually progress to our Elite Dance Program.

RECREATION DANCE PROGRAM

Recreation Dance is all about bringing the fun to dance, in a creative, and supportive atmosphere. These classes typically run for 1 hour or less per week and do not require the purchase of a costume.
These classes will perform at our in house mid year Show Offs & end of year Showcase.
Athletes will typically start in our Recreation Dance Program and progress to our Semi-Competitive Dance Program.

STYLES

A performance dance style known for its high energy and use of pom poms. This upbeat and fun genre of dance combines traditional jazz, and ballet with the more modern genre hip hop.
Throughout this class, athletes will develop their technique, strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance.
Our Pom classes incorporate a combination of jumps, turns, leaps, motions and kicks.
This is the perfect style for students to learn the fundamentals of dance in a positive, fun and exciting environment.

Hip hop encompasses a wide range of street styles including breaking, locking and popping.
This class specifically focuses on developing rhythm and coordination while encouraging individual style.
Lyrical Dance Style

Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. The style combines ballet technique with the freedom and musicality of jazz and contemporary.
